Vic Indiano is a registered patent attorney. Vic received his bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Economics from Indiana University (1977), and his Juris Doctor from Indiana University at Indianapolis (1981), and has been engaged in private practice in the area of patent, trademark, and copyright law since 1982.
During that time, Vic has represented companies of all sizes, from some of the largest industrial companies in the country, to small local businesses. He has helped several clients grow from small organizations to public companies, and has helped several privately owned companies grow from ‘mom and pop shops” to the point where their owners could command a king’s ransom from larger companies when the owners wanted to sell.
Vic has been the author of numerous publications and has spoken to and/or written seminar materials for a wide variety of groups including the Indianapolis Business Journal, Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, the National Business Institute, the Indiana Institute for New Business Ventures, Inventure, and the Indiana Solo and Small Firm Conference. He is a former adjunct professor of Business Law at the IU School of Business in Indianapolis. Currently, Vic is the Chairperson of the Solo, Small Firm, and General Practice Section of the Indiana State Bar Association.
